When i first got to spain i was nervous about the whole thing especially with the host familes specially, but after a while you get to know them really well and get along with them. The whole prodject is an amazing experience, well a once in a lifetime oppertunity.
On the first day the Uk were the only country in spain, so we did lessons on the first day.
On the second day we did the bowls.
On the third day we did gold panning.And on the fourth day we did kiyaking down small rapids which was AMAZING=)
Sop the whole week was AWSOME=)

I had a fantastic time in Spain we arrived on Sunday I was very tired because of the trip. Monday we visited the school everyone gave us a warm welcome, furthermore everyone in the school was very friendly. We ate a traditional Spanish dish chorizo it was delicious.Tuesday We played some tradiional Spanish games such as Bowls and toad in the frog. Bowls is very different to English bowls, it is very difficult to get a highscore. Toad in the frog is especially difficult you have to throw a disk inside a sculpture of a frogs mouth. Wednesday we went to a gold museum to see all different kinds of gold. Then we tried to play the sport called goldpanning it is quite hard but i manged to find some gold. Thursday we canoed down a gigantic river it was very fun and interesting. The landscape of Asturias was beautiful and it was hot and sunny everyday. It was FUN!

I stayed with a family with my friend Scott. The family was very nice and welcoming .the school and people were also welcoming, the first day we went to our hosts house and met them , also they took us into the town centre and showed us the local park and other things .. monday we went to most lessons with our host Pamela and help out in most of the english lessons . tuesday we we had an asembly and then we went bowling and had a few games of tug of war. wednesday we went gold panning .. it was good but the water was really cold! thursday we went coneoing and it was good i was swimming even tho it was cold! we also we went into the gold museum .and friday we wrote this and went back to england and i would like to visit again ..

The week in spain was unbelievably fun. From the moment we landed i was boiling, the weather couldnt have been better. On sunday we got settled in met our family and visited a small palace. Monday we met the class and we made about 30 friends instantly. they had a big concert for the students in the project. Me and Jarad went to Gijon and saw a university and we went in the sea. Tuesday we had traditional Asturian sports, we went in teams and competed. My team won 2 events and i have a medal and a cup. Wednesday we went Gold panning but i was no good i didnt find any gold so i just went swimming in the river instead. Thursday was very fun, we went canoeing. It was long and tireing but we made jokes and splashed each over. If i had a choice, stay in spain or go back to England, i would stay
